Please plan on joining us for our Parish retreat which will take place on Sunday, October 19th through Tuesday, October 21st for the evening sessions at St. Matthew, and Monday, October 20th through Wednesday, October 22nd for the morning sessions at Our Lady of Grace.
Fr. Jack Rathschmidt is a priest of the Capuchin Order of Franciscans. Fr. Jack’s ministerial work includes many years of leadership in areas of religious and priestly formation for the friars. He also has served as a college professor and chaplain.
In areas of preaching he has been successful as a Retreat Director, a Preacher of Parish Missions, a Presenter of Catechetical material for young people, as well as several other preaching endeavors. Fr. Jack also served as Minister Provincial for 6 years.
Fr. Jack has a talent for making Faith Formation and Liturgy a personal thing. We at Holy Trinity are really looking forward to having Fr. Jack as our retreat leader.
Our retreat theme for this year is Living in Gratitude. Autumn is a time of joy and delight that is filled with gratitude and hope. It is also a wonderful time to renew our faith commitment. Through quiet reflection, prayer, story and scriptural reflection, our parish mission will help us focus on refreshment, new life, wonder and awe with the God who is always vitally alive within and among us.
The topics for the three nights are: Letting Go, Gratitude and Forgiveness and Celebration and Service. We hope to see you there!
