Membership in St. Timothy Women’s Club of Holy Trinity Parish is open to all women of the parish. Call the Bristol office - 744-2700 -  and the secretary will pass your name on to our President.

We meet the first Monday of the month, March through November at Simard Hall in Our Lady of Grace Chapel in Bristol at 7 P.M.

Following a business meeting, refreshments are served by different members taking turns as hostess and depending on the group, programs have been presented and guest speakers invited.

Projects Sponsored by STWC

Bereavement meals are planned for those families in need of this following a funeral in our church. This committee checks for the hall usage, arranges for hostesses, arranges for hall set-up, calls volunteers in the church for salads and desserts and picks up sandwiches, chips and drinks from our local grocery store.

Annual donations are made to Catholic Charities during the annual drive, to the local food bank (Bristol Community Services) as needed and to other good works sponsored by our parish.

Other monies have been donated to purchase equipment and items as needed in our parish and for the parish programs. The club gave a substantial donation to the new Marian Center. Some of that money was spent for tables, table linens, flower urns, punch servers and a rolling cart to be used in the Great Hall. Tables were bought for Simard Hall, also a refrigerator and two stoves. For the church a defibrillator, altar server albs, missalette covers, antique case for our historical books (back of church) and bushes for landscaping. Haitian school supplies were purchased.

Care Net Pregnancy Center is another organization that we support. We sponsor a shower every other year where members and guests bring items needed for a new baby and a program is planned to entertain the attendees. On the off year a check is donated by the club to support their needs.

Blood Drives are sponsored by STWC three times a year. Members help with checking donors in, being available as an aide, hostessing a refreshment table and making refreshments to serve.

Our members cook and bake for many church functions and suppers during special times of the year, mission programs, and during the summer Habitat for Humanity's lunches for our local Holstrom Way group. We bake and distribute Christmas cookies for the home bound of our parish and community.
