Holy Trinity music ministers have been singing for many years. In Plymouth, alto Diane Gravel has been singing since the 4th grade. Her husband David Gravel, started singing in earnest at St. Michael's College in Vermont and has been singing ever since.
Edie Hamersma started singing alto with us when she moved here in 2000. Diane and Edie make an unbeatable alto team!
Joe Ebner lends his wonderful tenor, and his son Sam has added his beautiful bass to our choral mix.
Our Director of Music Ministries, Chris Chiasson, provides guidance and direction to our various music ministers across the parish. Chris holds degrees in voice and piano performance from Berklee, music education from Eastern Nazarene College and a Certificate in Liturgy with a music track from the Archdiocese of Boston. In addition, Chris has liturgical tracks in liturgical music, youth ministry and religious education from Aquinas College. She has over two decades of professional and teaching experience and plays and sings at most of our liturgies at both campuses.
In Bristol, Chris is directing a youth ensemble that is enriching liturgies at Our Lady of Grace, and Dan Cerat is adding his talent during the summer.
The Holy Trinity music ministry demands a substantial commitment of time and talent. The members of the ministry are required to attend rehearsals and strive for musical excellence.
Singers and musicians will be selected through an audition process. New members will be chosen so that their voices/instruments will complement and enrich our liturgies. If you would like to participate in this ministry, please call Chris at 603-744-2700.
